That's that: Pakistan win by nine wickets

The dugout is in raptures. Imad Wasim emits a never-ending roar. Pumped. As emphatic a performance as they come. England drag themselves off the field with absolutely staggered looks. Phew, been some game this. The clamour was about this being a two-paced pitch at the halfway mark after England were thoroughly stifled by Riaz's fire and Wasim's accuracy. But what ensued during the chase just blew all of it away. Sharjeel and Latif came all guns firing, rode their luck a couple of times and walloped England to shreds. The bowling was abysmal at the start and that sort of set the tone of what was to follow. Never really recovered. Both openers went on a rampage and the roars kept getting louder and louder and louder from the strong Pakistani presence in the crowd. A resounding win!

Riaz: "We know England are destructive and we need wickets to put them under pressure. We managed to bowl good areas. Wasim kept things quiet, they had to take chances. The wicket is very slow, I was watching the way the new ball went. Was very slow.

Wahab Riaz is Man of the Match.

Sarfraz: "Credit goes to the bowlers and then Sharjeel and Latif played well. Imad bowled well but Hasan Ali who was on debut bowled really well. When we arrived, we had a meeting during which I just said to play positive cricket without any pressure."

Morgan: "During Pakistan's powerplay the ball skidded on nicely so we thought the pacers would be effective. I still like to think we're on an upward curve. Our consistency in 50-over cricket and T20 cricket has been fantastic. Credit to our bowlers. Didn't have enough runs unfortunately today. It's been a really busy two and a half weeks, I'll have a few days off, think about it, and then make a decision about touring Bangladesh. You have to be comfortable enough about taking the field."
